It helps the immune system to recognize tumor cells and potentially kill them. However it would not eliminate the parts of the immune system that is hi-jacked by cancer to protect itself from the immune system. Leronlimab elicits an increased immune response and knocks down the tumor protective mechanisms. It may be able to boost what leronlimab already does.
