You are correct...a Mea Culpa never came from the CEO...the BOD handed him his walking papers after 20 plus years...he was responsible for acquiring Amarex...I suspect he had very little to do with their negligence...he was the emperor with No clothes...he took far too long to put them on...HIS negligence/apathy./stonewalling..was already in play...and he paid the price...now the parent company will pay their price. Acquisitions sometimes come with dark swans.

Their lawyers would NEVER... allow anyone from the company to utter penance for wrong-doing...it's Not the American way....We just pay the fine...and move on.
