Regarding Dr. J's options vesting over 4 years, that is standard operating procedure in contracts. Most likely the options are split into 1/4's with 1/4 vesting each year. I wouldn't read into it any more than that...SOP. I do contracts like this all the time for people receiving net profit participation in films, businesses, etc.
