It’s a stupid thing. The tariffs simply pass through to the consumer with China goods still being less expensive than high cost labor, negative RMB exchanges etc.

Bigger picture, China retaliates and excludes us from participating in the largest market in the world - China. China will dominate the EV market and many others. Oh, and all those goods being imported from China, they are coming from American suppliers in China who set up operations in China for low costs.

Thinking snpw, or any company, is going to bypass China is foolish.
