Ohm, another potential indication?? We learned that our cat has FIP, a feline coronavirus, for which the only known treatment thus far is -- and you won't believe this -- a variant of REMDESIVIR! And it's incredibly difficult and expensive to get at this point.
Treatment is 84 days long, and an *expected* side effect is skin sores that have to be shaved and treated with antibiotics. fun.
I keep thinking once LL gets passed, CYDY will be more generous than Gilead in allowing veterinary use. Hundreds of thousands of FIP-cat-parents will thank them for a treatment that's effective AND has no horrible side-effects.
It will in all probability be too late for our Ara, but maybe will save many, many cat lives in years to come.
