Please don't take this the wrong way, but I see people on other stock boards saying...
I don't have a twitter account, a facebook account, a TikTok account, an Instagram account nor watch TV but I'm not seeing/hearing about any marketing a company is doing. They ain't doing shit!!!!
The reply is usually..."Hey Dude, get a twitter, abc, xyz account"
The reply back is..."I don't want one because they aren't secure, get hacked all the time, sell my data, evil, whatever...
Probably somewhat true. TikTok is tricky. Most don't realize you need to go into settings and privacy and turn a bunch of shit off.
Out of the 5 people that actually still post here on a somewhat regular basis, the odds of one of the 5 people actually seeing a Market.Live commercial out of hundreds of thousand of TV commercials within billions of minutes of TV shows would like winning the lottery.
If someone told me that I'd call BS as I watch enough TV so should see almost all commercials right?
I'll give you an example...
I've seen this commercial advertising the History channel hundreds if times. So much so, I know all the words by heart and repeat them to people only to find out, they've never seen it. How can that be? I've seen it 100's of times.
I'm Cleisthenes the father of democracy.
Most people have no clue who Cleisthenes was nor ever seen the commercial!

I was surprised I was seeing Market.Live TikTok ads or maybe it was just pushed videos to me based on algorithms, idk. If there was actually a TikTok expert here or someone under 30, maybe they could weigh in.
TikTok (and also Facebook for that matter) is great at personalizing content based on what you are interacting with. When I am viewing TikTok, I see a lot of Impractacle Joker clips, Cops pulling people over and people arguing with them, a guy 70's dancing, people interacting with the dude in a uniform on a horse in front of some UK palace/place and my favorite, The Professor which is a professional street basketball player that is crazy entertaining to watch.
It's quite interesting with TikTok more so than Facebook that goes by clicks. TT calculates how much time you spend on something and then tweak your personalized algorithm to feed you more of the same, but throw in some oddball stuff to see if you are interesting in that. If you swipe up in a second or two, probably won't see that again.
I do get some people don't want to have Social media accounts and it's probably smart. But often they asked others what's going on, on Social media. i.e. do DD for me.
For me, I wouldn't invest in a company that relies on Social Media without being able to check out their 'stuff'. It would be like me investing in Ford, but driving a Honda. I get people do it and it certainly is fine, but I only invest in stuff I use and get.
I friend of mine that is very well off said to me years ago...You are best off investing in what you know. I believe that to be true.
Keep in mind I'm not a big time TikTok'er, but I see why it's super popular. I think I mentioned I bought this bottle/can insulator thingie from what of Market.Live sellers from TikTok to see how smother, how long to ship, etc. I was impressed with the whole transaction. If I wasn't, I'd be concerned.
Thanks for asking about the commercials. It's a good reminder that someone here posted something about one being on MTV2 or some version of MTV. I have access to MTV but haven't watch anything on it in 30 years

What was the first video on MTV?
"Ironically enough, the first music video to launch on MTV was “Video Killed The Radio Star” from The Buggles."
Bloody hell. Seems like yesterday.
