Brief comment to strongly affirm Dr. Jay lalezari’s priority on publishing existing data. Negligible real cost to Cytodyn other than time, but it is the Town Crier getting important news out there, no new trials required.
We are aware of Dr. Jay’s discussions with NIH regarding critical COVID19. They are very interested but waiting on the publishing of the critical COVID19 data. The current situation implies deaths from Covid, while much reduced, not going away. We are talking excess deaths this year comparable to a bad influenza year and on par with the number of troops that died during the Vietnam war, close to 70,000 in the U.S.

Publish, drop the bait with the NIH, let them show up with government green energy to prove efficacy. Jay is right in his analysis, we need an IV route and at larger doses to achieve rapid receptor occupancy, and a quick clinical response. Cyrus was right, we have to be focused…not too many bites of the apple left, but in this instance maybe the government shows up with green energy at no cost to Cytodyn except providing the drug. We can’t be like a dog chasing every bone (indication) under the clinical sun as Nader was want to do, we really do have to focus, but perhaps other entities are willing to step forward to further the cause while we focus on what is critical to Cytodyn.
