Samsung screws CKPT
Checkpoint Therapeutics had the PDUFA date coming up Jan 3 for their checkpoint inhibitor but announced today that they got a CRL just for manufacturing, and their manufacturer is Samsung Biologics.
This is a major eff up as Checkpoint has been scrounging for cash and was counting on an approval to raise dough. Hopefully they'll be able to clear up the issue post-haste and get their approval later this year but egg on the face for Samsung.
