Years ago someone had a website that tracked Cramer's picks. According to that website, fewer than half of them would have resulted in profits to the people who followed his advice.
The guy who ran the website was sued, and appealed for people to help him pay the huge legal fees for defending the website -- which after all, should have been perfectly within his rights to maintain. But, he couldn't afford the million dollars in legal fees, so he shut down the website. The wealthy can shut down websites they don't like by legal actions like this that would bankrupt the website if they defend themselves against lawsuits.
