Re: Steel Reserve #113507
I will always remember, the year of COVID, the same number of people who where listed of dying from COVID was almost the same number fewer that did not die from the flu, compared to the previous year. A lot of young people got sterilized, IMO, no kids, and more dying 2 years plus earlier than in 2019.
And immigrants don't need the vaccines.

Why is life expectancy falling in the US?
COVID-19, drug overdoses, and accidental injury accounted for about two-thirds of the decline in life expectancy, according to the 2022 report. Other reasons included heart and liver disease and suicides.
The drop in life expectancy would have been even greater if not for a bit of good news: decreases in deaths from chronic lung disease, pneumonia, influenza, and Alzheimer's disease.
Alarming disparities in life expectancy
Some groups experienced much bigger drops in life expectancy over the last two years than others:
6.6 years for the American Indian/Alaska Native population
4.2 years for Hispanic Americans
4.0 years for Black Americans
2.4 years for white Americans
2.1 years for Asian Americans.
