It appears that Dr. Jay has left the door open to hiring as permanent CEO. He also stated the need for "accountability" several times in his presentation. My sense is that he will consider permanent appointment if 1) he achieves the goals he set for his interim status, 2) he can see a way forward to advancing Cytodyn's future as a relevant healthcare entity and investment, and 3) he is offered the position by the BOD. His honesty and desire to avoid pumping is admirable and welcome.
