Unsuprisingly nobody looks good here but it's interesting that Kazem's defense is that the FDA had it out for us for a long time. We've got the Fed's notes from the interview with the contact at the FDA, Suzanne Strayhorn, but Kazem's attorneys are also asking for internal FDA communications to potentially get a peek into the depth of the FDA's feelings for Cytodyn.
The stuff about Strayhorn watching Proactive videos and reading Ihub has been shared but another thing that really stood out to me was her saying that she "did not think CYTODYN understood how the drug would work" for covid.
Nader was far, far from the most experienced biotech CEO and he obviously doesn't have a background in biology but it's crazy to think that he didn't understand the cytokine storm and the potential of leronlimab to quell it. Her opinion of Nader seems to be that he has the cognitive ability of a child, which is ludicrous and frankly goes against the Fed's argument of him being a scheming mastermind.
We all know Nader was shortsighted and in some sense delusional but he's definitely not an idiot.
