Worthington Energy, Inc (OTC: WGAS) engages in the acquisition and development of oil and natural gas properties located primarily in the USA. The Company is in turn-around mode.   As a result, the initial focus and strategy has been in the acquisition of currently producing properties.  These properties require capital to workover existing wells, and if applicable, additional technology to enhance production.

The Company currently owns VM -179, offshore shallow Gulf of Mexico. The Company is currently completing acquisitions of proven and developed properties in North Central Texas, as well as South Texas.
