Help me understand why you're voting no on the compensation part of the ballot.
I'm a serious long with just under 1M shares and want CYDY and Leronlimab to progress to a much happier place. I voted all my shares "YES" on the different measures. I am not management but have been through similar wars with other struggling Biotechs.
This management group did not cause this FDA hold. They really currently have only 2 prime directives. 1)- keep the lights on and the door open 2) Get the hold lifted.
The lights will be kept open by issuing more shares- good.
Usually a Biotech company will tout and publicize whatever actions they are taking to advance their drugs to keep their shareholders informed. If management talked openly about the tit for tat with the FDA regarding the hold do you think the FDA would appreciate that? No, I don't either. So management keeps professionally quiet and does what the FDA is requiring of them to get the hold lifted. Meanwhile we are frustrated and are like the proverbial mushrooms except we're not fed very often..
This is like a whack-job surgeon has operated on you and made a real mess of things. So you fire that surgeon and get another surgeon to get you healthy again. Do you denigrate the second surgeon and threaten to pay him/her less because you are in a bad spot? No- you let surgeon #2 work to get you better even though you are in pain and not happy. Be pissed at surgeon #1 and the situation you're in but try to understand and support surgeon #2 to get your sorry ass back to health.
If you want to send a message to management I'd suggest using English and direct email or old fashioned USPS letters and being specific about your gripes.
I believe that the persisting hold is due to the FDA's making a point about how things are done in the Pharma world. When this management or any other management is in a similar situation and the FDA asks you to jump you don't just jump, you ask how high and how often....and then you wait.
I don't like this situation at all but waiting this out will be worth it because Leronlimab is a great drug with huge ramifications for health care.
