Tictok gave up in the USA, like a year ago then hightails it back in I what I'm remembering just a few months later.. and now seems gung-ho with Tictok Shop? Now they lose out in Indonesia for no choice of their own. No one wants to lose out on lots of revenue there. Maybe even more of a renewed interest here?

No link for this but maybe Tictok has commented sometime in the past, somewhere, on the reality of all those one off holiday/festival livestream shopping entertainment events with the Stars of China that have been taking place these last few years in China? Hundreds of millions of Renminbi a whack is what the sales totals equal to! Surely they at least know it's what happens there in their own country. Wouldn't they want to try to mimic that here? Must drive them nuts it isn't happening here in the U.S., yet?
