And, so what if it is a new website? Lots of companies have a company website and then another website for each product that they sell. If you saw an ad on TV that you could take a magic drug that would cure your illness, and all you had to worry about was if it would give you cancer or a stroke, or cause your innards to become outards -- would you remember what company made it, go to the company website, and dig through until you found the drug? Or would you remember the name of the wonder drug, search for that, and go to a website that was about that drug and only that drug?
I know what a marketing manager would suggest.
And just reserving a web address and putting up a standard "under construction" page doesn't mean that anything is going to happen in the near future. It could easily be just a placeholder, for who knows how far down the line.
