Magna case update:
SEC and Manuel(Sason's #2) had a second settlement conference on Sep 6th.
SEC and Sason had a second and third settlement conference on Sep 7th and 12th.
On Sep 14th the SEC requested an extension on any potential pre-trial order (likely just for Sason) to Oct 24th.
On Sep 26th the SEC announced it had reached a tentative settlement agreement with Marc Manuel,
which the SEC estimates will take be approved mid-November.
The next update on Manuel is expected Nov 17th or sooner, and for Sason, Oct 24th or sooner.
So bottom line, the squeeze is on. They've gotten Manuel to settle on something. Doesn't sound like the SEC has given up on Sason, so likely means they've got his #2 right hand man to give evidence of something. But we will see soon enough.
