I don't know who Shapier is or where he's located - I will post this from BUHOLEGAL - the Mexican legal search service - showing the filing dates and file name for the very long running case of: JESUS ARTURO ORTEGA VILLALOBOS, SUCESION A BIENES DE JOSE JESUS ALBERTO ORTEGA BON VS PAUL DWIGHT THOMPSON.
This case was first filed in Nov 2017 and the most recent filing was yesterday, 9-25-2023. There have been many many filings implying many billed hours and fees. This is a page of the filings but I can't acces that actual content without a subscription. When I tried to subscribe I could not get my US credit cards to "take".
Won't speculate too far but that term "Sucesion a bienes" indicates the passing of property from a deceased person to someone else. This seems to jibe with Shapier's posts even though those are short on specifics. It appears he has access to more info than I do.
Anyone can set up an account at buholegal.com and enter some search criteria and find the same info and many other cases in the State and Municpal courts involving Mexus and/or the CEO.
There is continuing new work at the Santa Elena site - mostly small areas of excavation along existing dozer tracks. There seems to be one short new dozer track for repeat travel. No idea who's working but it's gone on for quite a few weeks and I'd rule out vandalism since vandals would have run out of fuel weeks ago. It's something else. Remediation? New poking around in shallow excavation for something? If Mexus were involved I'd think they'd be proud to tell it so I doubt it's Mexus' work. Zero changes to pads or ponds or old blast area or Julio shaft area or vein. Sort of random small bright regions of disturbed desert scrub - and that new dozer track to southeast of the Wishbone.
My experience is that if this stock goes dark and no bid/ask then the opportunity to sell thru a broker and captuue the capital loss will also be gone. TD Ameritrade (soon to be in the Schwab group) has a form that can be used to sell a worthless stock for one penny and get it off the books and show the Capital Loss for tax purposes but only as long as there is a bid and ask price. Consult your own broker or your past experience and if you have other insights you might reply to this message. For the private placement Certificates I think there is nothing that can be done - but would be glad to hear otherwise.
