In theory, I see your point in a potential suiter or parter helping in some meaningful way behind the scenes. But in practice, I am not sure other companies would expend their resources to do so without some form of guarantee that they were the only one doing so. They would have to have some ROI in order to help, which could be buried in an NDA somewhere. Interesting thought.
