Looks like Melbourne is alive and well. SFRX wants to ID a wreck they say the Toy confirmed had no treasure.
But I thought the only way to confirm whether there is treasure or not was to disturb the site…..ie wait on the permit.
FYI, there’s a colonial area wreck about every mile along the east coast. EXPL finds dozens of wrecks every time they do surveys of any size. I believe it was in 2019 when they found 7 off of North Carolina.
Look forward to finding out the ID of the ringworm wreck. That would be a first for SFRX…..identifying a wreck.
