EXPL and other actual salvors don’t pretend they have some miracle gold finder that will help them loot Spain’s property. They understand salvage law and rely upon research with good navigational data.
They also don’t say they’re on a wreck when they aren’t.
Not all wrecks are eaten by wood worms, but Kyle pretends that’s some huge problem in the industry, just like he pretends they will loot Spain’s property. He targets a low information audience, obviously. That makes you a good fit.
SFRX has never even found a wreck after spending $26MM and touting Timmy’s Toy for over 4 years.
