UNVC: I'm not following how AWS Healthscribe and Healthscribe.me is the same thing, healthscribe.me is just a Domian not even up online.
There is a HealthscribeMD totally different.
All Dalton said was Healthscribe.me would be integrated into UNVC's platform.
I disagree with all the talk about Amazon needs UNVC's platform if it has one, I wish someone, or Dalton would prove it.
The Amazon Web Services tool announced Wednesday July 26th 2023, called HealthScribe, allows providers to build clinical applications that use speech recognition and generative AI to create transcripts of patient visits, identify key details and create summaries that can be entered into an electronic health record.
Amazon doesn't need anything UNVC has, Amazon bought One Medical With that deal, which closed in Feb., Amazon brought in an on-demand virtual care services platform, more than 125 locations and a piece of the Medicare Advantage business. They have their own Telehealth also.
This past year at One Medical we extended the impact of our human-centered and technology-powered model, expanding to serve 836,000 total members, including 796,000 Consumer and Enterprise and 40,000 At-Risk members, and growing net revenue 68% year-over-year to $1.046 Billion,” said Amir Dan Rubin, Chair & CEO
Amazon does not provide the telemedicine services itself, but instead provides Amazon Clinic as a platform to connect telemedicine partners with patients. Current partners include Curai Health, Hello Alpha, SteadyMD and Wheel.
