NewPCNA inhibitor AOH1996 shows selective cancer cell killings and tumor suppression POTENTIAL.
It MAY stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking SOME of the enzymes needed for (cancer) cell growth.
Anything that proves to stop/mitigate Cancer cells is obviously a GOOD thing.
Given 6 times the normal dosage...did not show toxicity or SAE's...a GOOD thing.
Named after lost child to cancer (neuroblastoma)...in 2006...and her year of birth.
Her parents supported the development of the drug.
NOT a biochemist...I hope it works after phase one.
