Integracer02, that press release was from 2008, and today one would think the number of TigerLynks required by North Cal Wood Products would be even higher.  The amount of recoverable lumber and number of buildings where reclaimed wood can be found is limited, and growing smaller every day.  That leaves submerged forests and sunken timber as the only dependable source for large volumes of old growth timber.  With such a large source of product readily available, why not combine with Hollund Industrial Marine?  The combination seems to make perfect sense to me.
