Given Gilead would do this kind of thing - engage in activity to hurt patients to generate continued profits - and given the fact that LL's safety and efficacy against AIDS has been looming for a while (5 years?) -
- would it be a stretch to think Gilead might have had some kind of, ahem, 'agreement' with our former CRO to do whatever it took to keep us off the market as long as possible?
If a company is willing to hurt sick people to keep the revenue flowing, would burying LL really be a bridge too far?
