I don't know if they have or have not any excuses. My gut tells me they do. I could be wrong though. It's hard to build a business when anything good you do naked shorts double down on your company. Public companies are meant to raise money, especially start ups. The biggest mistake was to go public years ago I feel and I'm sure there are other mistakes made I'm unaware of. Could anyone have made better decisions? Maybe. Highly successful people and companies make terrible mistakes. Some mistakes appear to be terrible at the time but then prove to be genius years after How did the King of Beers not see the kind of backlash they would receive from their recent marketing campaign? Any old arm chair director of marketing could've seen that a mile away! It doesn't take a genius to know that Verb needs more buyers. It doesn't take a genius to know that Market needs more advertising. It's really just stating the obvious.
