Spot on. Not only that in the atherosclerosis branch of heart disease, blocking CCR5 promotes good cholesterol, downregulates bad cholesterol and reduces arterial plaques.
Leronlimab being the cause of those heart attacks in Brazil was extremely unlikely. The inflammatory processes of the virus itself does induce heart attacks and leronlimab could reduce that. But the FDA doesn't seem to know or care about even the basic MOAs of drugs.
