Anyone who thinks the FDA is impartial, competent, and acts fairly should read this article. FDA's new commissioner is called the worst of the last 15. Obvious conflicts of interest are called "possible" conflicts. FDA is going to solve the problem of outside experts using "adcomm" meetings to voice objections to what the FDA wants by -- not holding those meetings any more.
