The widespread theory is that we'll partner for the NASH trial. But until the clinical hold is lifted, a partner may not be willing to move forward and/or justify said partnership to its own shareholders.

The clinical hold might only be for HIV and Covid, but it's a dark cloud which hangs over the drug itself and mgmt needs to convince the FDA to move that cloud ASAP.

Until then, we all sit in the rain.
