Yes, the Kelly crew definitely involved as shown by photos not posted I don't know what their involvement is. I do expect to see the Sister Shelle on Bearing Sea Gold in the next season. From the launch photos it'll be one of the largest dredges on the water and I believe it will employ a sea floor crawler with vacuum hose pickup. The "Sister Shelle" is a large vessel - I'd estimate 60 or 65 feet just comparing it to the D-9 Cat that was maneuvering it into the River.
It's quite a feat of "parts yard" construction and it appears it was fabricated from scratch there at Walnut Grove. It's a large utility ship not to have come from a commercial ship yard. Credit I think largely to Paul Jr for the construction. Many specialized skills were needed to put the hull, propulsion, electronics, steering, electrical, hydraulics, pumps and gold recovery systems all together.
