I am in the same boat that many here are in, down six figures, yet continue to hold out hope and believe we will break out of the hold and move forward.
Having said that, it seems there are two camps amongst us; One camp blames the shorts for playing the stock and making pennies on the dollar day trading.
The second camp blames a BP influence manipulating the share price and blunting any advancement in share price.
I am more convinced with passing time that BP is playing us like a finely tuned instrument. Whether they are doing it to drive us into BK or to make a cheap acquisition, or even partner at a bargain rate. I think it unlikely that day traders can manipulate a price consistently at .26 cents for weeks. I do think BP has the cash to make that happen.
Just my humble opinion.
