I don't see the issues a few folks are expressing about this PR. In fact, outside of the clear negative that Cyrus might be seriously sick or hurt, the fact that two highly regarded professionals have jumped in to help is a straight up boon. As far as boons go.
Because the company announced the medical leave and not Cyrus, I think it's safe to say that he wasn't in a position to craft a PR and then ease into a little time off for something simple like mole removal. Mole's for instance, can be quite annoying but they aren't going to surprise you like one minute you're standing in your living room and the next minute you're waking up in the hospital with a stage 3 case of the moles. In fact, getting rid of of moles, or as they're called around the private board "Craigs", is easy and wouldn't require time away. Whatever happened to Cyrus seems like more of an immediate need. The kind where people hustle behind the scenes to cover for you and ensure business keeps moving while you're getting better.
There are a ton of things that can result in a rush to treat, so there's no real use in speculating. Thankfully, word on the street is that he's already recovering from whatever it was and will be back as soon as it's possible. No idea how long that will be, but in the meanwhile we have some pretty strong folks jumping in to help.
The more high quality brainpower, the better.
I like the idea of an upcoming webcast, though per usual I'll stifle the urge to believe it's because the hold is lifted or they're going to just go ahead and start their Nash efforts while continuing to work on the hold, which they should if you ask me. I think it'll be a general update with a more formal introduction to new folks.
But hey, you never know.
