long time, but could someone remind me about how we were using Leronlimab to treat sepsis? What were we treating exactly? It wasn't the infection itself because that would require an antibiotic.
So, we were treating the side effects of the infection which was inflammation.
But inflammation of what exactly?
What usually gets inflamed so severely, that it ends up killing the patient even before the infection kills the patient?
Is it the Cytokine storm which we are treating here specifically?
Something like what happens in Covid 19?
or even long haulers?
