Re: Steel Reserve #105127
Your numbers are out of line but what do we expect from a far right wing nut. Inflation has been 8% in 2021 then 6% in 2022 so yes a combined 14% in national inflation. Did your union get you raises each year? What no Union? I did ok but still lost 2% in overall inflation. My union needs to do better.
As for your utility bills up 150%. Do you think nobody else has utility bills? Why lie about them? Nobody is up 150%.
Then when it comes to inflation and when it started… do you think Covid had anything to do with these issues of inflation? Maybe? Most certainly did.
When Covid hit in 2019 is when inflation took off. Could have been less of an impact if the administration wasn’t in denial of a long acting pandemic was in progress. So this happened on Trumps watch and he spent trillions of dollars and gave money to each citizen to help the country not collapse. Inflation took off because of this. By the time Biden got in office and took over inflation was climbing and he also had to give money to spur the economy. So when you look at the big picture Biden inherited this problem and did better in responding to Covid and all its issues. We were lucky that Trump left office or we would have had many more die from Covid. If you remember he stopped the daily Covid team from talking in the media and all to look better for the 2020 election. Bad choice for Trump…
Blaming inflation on the democrats isn’t fair. Blaming it on the Republicans isn’t fair either… they both did what they had to do as the economy almost came to a complete stop. If you are going to blame anyone or anything for inflation. Blame Covid because that is the root of the problems for both administrations.
History will reflect that Covid was our problems for inflation. Do the research and quit blaming the parties when neither are responsible.
