n 2022, it was estimated that over 158 million Americans were in some form of employment, while 3.67 percent of the total workforce was unemployed.

I believe 158.6 million in 2019 is higher than 158 million.in 2022
Maybe more jobs were created becauae so many were lost during COVID in 2020.
Yet the number of those employed were higher n 2019..
