I see people on the other board wondering if they could buy EGOCD on Etrade., that has never been a problem, so yes, bought some 3 times. Thats not the problem. I haven't tried to sell the old CUSIP so not sure about that.
I think they are being cautious with the old CUSIP for potential fraud reasons. Fraudulent by who is the question. They just seem paranoid of it for some reason. They may or may not have good reason for it, so they want the paper in hand before exchanging. Thats what I get out of it. Hopefully they get it fixed by tomorrow or soon after.
