How special that you were able to visit Grytviken on South Georgia Island. As protracted and challenging as this journey with Cytodyn has been, Shackleton faced much greater headwinds and persevered against all odds and prevailed successfully in the Endurance expedition…we can do no less…patience.
I was fortunate enough to see the 22 foot boat the James Caird that he sailed from Elephant Island to South Georgia, part of a special exhibit in NYC…there were also historic artifacts from the expedition, many on temporary loan from descendants…water stained diaries subjected to blubber smoke for example…very moving. This is the greatest survival story ever and quite fitting to remember as a metaphor for what we are all going through here.
This has been a long journey through treacherous seas but we are still afloat…never the lowered banner…
