Re: Hyperbolic #134121
it's a great point.
the FDA is like the compliance guy at my firm. He has no motivation to do anything faster - or to meet any deadline. His position in compliance gives him a little power kick, which he enjoys - he likes having some leverage over the guys who are closing business. As such, he's a smug pecker-head. so how do i handle it?
swallow my pride, kiss some ass, and Grin and bear it. You have to deal with these people because they have you over a barrel - and eventually, if you're professional, organized and courteous - you get through the process. but it's always slower than you like, and more painful.
We were always behind the 8-ball with NP, who was brash, impatient and seemed un-organized / impulsive. With Cyrus, we have the opposite - the exact temperament that will get us through the process with these people.
I've settled in that i was over-optimistic in expecting the hold to be lifted this soon - but we'll get there. And maybe it happens around the time we get news of an Amarex settlement. 2023 will still be our year - maybe just the back end vs. the front end of the year. So be it.
