I could cut $1100 out of my budget a month without blinking an eye if inflation gets really bad.
If every citizen does that. The economy would go to HELL really fast.
90% of us, might not be given any other choice by fall. RENT/House payment, utilities, food not necessarily in that order.
Just checked rent in Grand Rapids. $1400/1600 for a 2 bedroom in some area's $1800-1900. That is without utilities. Homes not even touchable for 90%.
Just had a 67-year-old friend move home to live with 92-year-old mom.
