Doesn't the rebranding name ring a bell to you? LivImmune. It is pretty close to HIV. It is also pretty close to VIIV which is the GSK spin off with Pfizer for HIV.
When I saw that LivImmune name, the first thing I thought of was HIV and then after looking more into VIIV, I thought possibly the plan was to spin off LivImmune for HIV with someone other than GSK or Pfizer. Certainly Gilead doesn't want our help. Merck has HIV drugs going off patent, just like their oncology drug is going off patent.
