hope everyone has been well. i have been checking and posting less and less these days. primarily because i'm not worried nearly as much. Nader was such a disaster - and his scatter-gun approach to PRs, interviews, etc., kept us in a state of (at least in my opinion) general anxiety. he almost pushed me to selling near the end of his tenure - thank god i didn't. Cyrus is the exact opposite - a complete stud who keeps his mouth shut and gets #*$ done.
Seagen's cancer therapy valued at 15X revenue based on WSJ article today. Wow - that's the type of high multiple asset we have on our hands here. And i am convinced the Cyrus will extract massive value for us.
I am hopeful that we see the lifting of the hold this month. I really do think the dam bursts in a good way after that - there is excellent potential that a clinical partner in the cancer space is in the wings, awaiting the lifting of the hold.
I have added materially to my holdings this year - i now own much more than i can afford to hold, but life is short, and i think we now have clarity to how things will play out with a great leader, but still at an extremely depressed price. This window won't last, and i'm damn sure taking advantage of it.
good luck to everyone on however they play this. I think the back half of this year will contain some fireworks, the likes of which we haven't seen since the 2020 / 2021 timeframe.
