Etrade has a history on keeping their investors account balance after closing it, my advice is to not use VPN at all , or you will be in risk to be banned from Etrade and lose all you investment , and getting it back is a costly in time and money, just remember , They have tons of lawyers sitting in their desk getting paid and they need to put them to work. Your better try to recover your investment with them before closing you account , do not wait for Etrade to exercise the agreement you signed when you opened your account with them that says " Etrade security reserve the right to close your account at any time or to block your access to the service without notice " Good luck with Etrade
