Hurricanes is a part of the south but in that belt of islands they seem to not be affected that much. Barbados does see them time to time as I have vacationed there and a friends ex had a storm shutter business for those living on the islands.

Aruba doesn't get that kind of weather. Perhaps that's why it is so attractive to stay. live there.
