“The molecule is fantastic!” So true and another parallel…electricity for Edison and Westinghouse was the new gold…fantastic! It lit up the night, expanding the working day and in the bargain threatening to take a whack out of Rockefeller’s Standard Oil position with consumers…there were a lot of fires with “non-standard” formulations used in oil lamps.
Side note, I did my Masters research on electromagnetic field exposure and brain tumors, a much politicized topic in the day with cell phones and utility rights of way. When electric lighting was first introduced they refused to install it in the White House (from memory this was 1890’s) where the president would frequent as it was considered too dangerous.
We are sitting on a “fantastic” molecule dangerous to big pharma, unless they are lucky enough to partner.
