The right uses the Tax foundation to push that any tax is a bad tax. It’s like believing Reganomics is still an appropriate view. Reganomics of not taxing the rich use to make jobs. But the rich stopped making jobs. Now they became importer of product from other countries because there is a bigger mark up on sales of Chinese items over USA made items. So when you don’t tax the rich now… they get a few pass and the Average American has to pay more taxes to make up for it. There was a time when not taxing the rich was beneficial but those days are long gone. Just like Trumps Isolation theories of only building and buying American. We have let the proverbial mouse out of the cage and can’t corral it anymore. We have to play nice with trading partners and not accept unfavorable trade deals. This is life moving forward. Buying American should be a matter of pride. We should all buy local and or American as a matter of helping our fellow neighbors and family succeed. Nothing wrong with American pride.
