Wow… Biden knocked it out of the park last night. Showed strength and ability I have never seen from him. Was totally impressed in his speech. All eye opening and I have never liked Biden before this. Biden has the statistics to show just how well the country is recovering after one of the darkest financial times in our history with a pandemic that hurt the whole worlds economy.
You have to admit that the ideals he brought forward for manufacturing and jobs and unions all shine more than the darker view of the rebuttal. Sarah Huchabee Sanders deliveries a speech of fear and more fear. Trying to show a Republican Party that is suppose to be about freedom when the leader of the party is a leader that wants total control as an autocratic ruler. What a joke that expression of freedom is.
If the Republican Party really believed in freedom and patriotism they would denounce what president Trump tried to do with the insurrection and call him out in his disgraceful attempt to take away our freedom. You can’t have it both ways and say that your party is about freedom when the past president is allowed to walk around spewing lies and pretending that he never attempted to overthrow the country.
I will never forgive the Republican Party until Trump is denounced for who he is and what he has done. The republicans can’t continue to live the lies that they are currently and expect the majority of people in this country to support the party. There has to be lots of change to the party and the biggest change starts with telling the truth about all the lies. If you can’t clear the air it will suffocate the effort at any new run. Nobody and I mean nobody needs to be lied to and there is no worse feeling to understand the whole party is living the lies. Somebody like Mitt Romney needs to step up and call it like it is and push it much harder than they have.
Sarah Sanders didn’t say what the Republican plan was but instead preached fear of the other party. Typical fear mongering by a failing political party that can’t even compare to what the democrats are bringing back to the average Americans. It isn’t even funny how fear is pushed on to the people by this Republican party. You didn’t see any fear mongering from the democrats… are they a cut above the republicans in their ethics? They show more class and look more balanced in their attempt to bring the American people back to better times. To show what a democracy is all about.
Biden did show that the radical right wanted to sunset or stop social security and Medicare as a proposal that was put forward by the radical far right republicans. Can you imagine that a party would self destruct and attempt to take away Social Security for the American people? A fund that was paid for by the people for the people?
The polls showed after the speech that 72% of the American people thought it was positive with the right direction for the country. Looks like Biden is showing well for his just over two years in office. We will see if he has the ability to continue to lead for the average Americans and to relieve the country of some national debt by taxing the rich and corporations to pay their fair share. This is my biggest view of what change needs to happen to make our country great again. Early in my life the rich paid their fair share and so did the corporations. The republicans have provided so many tax loop holes that the rich and corporations pay nothing now and it is putting our country in debt we will never balance if we don’t stop these loop holes now. If you care about this country and want to see us prosper… we have to close the loop holes so everyone pays their fair share. It’s time to see the average Americans prosper again and not just the wealthy Americans.
