I'm really tiring of this FDA dance. Who designed this system?
What is this hold about? It took Gilead two months to get their hold lifted on a drug that actually had safety issues! And now we find out that recreational drugs caused the problem in Brazil. This is what I feared when we joined the FDA/BP club, we will be slow walked to death. Did the FDA lift the hold on Covid when they found out it was recreational drugs, NO. And a hold on HIV that we have been testing under FDA guidance for years and now there is a problem!
In January of this year Covid deaths rose to over 500 a day, this with ads for the Pfizer Paxlovid playing everywhere. When Paxlovid was introduced there were 320 deaths a day. So if Pfizer bought CytoDyn today, they would put Leronlimab on a back shelf somewhere.
