Can you imagine that a GOP Rep. said he would tank the economy to keep a campaign promise to his constituents.
What a freaking fool this guy Andy Biggs is. Surely signed his own re-election chances to zero and not ever get re-elected saying something crazy like that. If he was in my district he just lost my vote and those of all the independents. You don’t get re-elected without independents backing you also.
You don’t take away a persons retirement funds by crashing the stock market to get your own way. Threats like that are pure stupidity. Retired or not… if the market takes a dive because of the GOP holding out on debt ceiling and those boys are gone from being elected officials. It’s as simple as that!
