Like 15 years ago, some stocks had more naked shorts than authorized shares. I forget how they handled it, but I think the clothed crooks got their naked shorts bailed out somehow. One of my thoughts is the CIA/Mafia merger years ago is behind a lot more than drug trafficing as well as the Nancy Pelosi protected types in Congress.
