That would be 3.65 million retired in 2022… so even with high immigration we are not recovering our job work force. We need more immigrants to fill the lower jobs in our work force. Our population is diminishing as the baby boomers retire and immigration alone will not fix our woes. It’s a good start at a controlled rate. If our government can come to agreement to some new policies. Quit making it political and see the essential needs of our country.
